Recessed tail light tough as
By: Tim Forsyth on 1 July 2020I recessed a set of these into the back mud guards of my Quad bike 10 years ago, both still going strong. Did the same to the trailer I built for the quad. Unfortunately a mate borrowed the trailer and damaged one of the tail lights. Last week I fitted the replacement light and noted that the red taillight background paint had faded on the original remaining tail light. Can't complain as the trailer lives permanently outside, red paint and Far North Queensland Sun just ain't a good mix.
